Being an English language teacher

                  Being an English Language Teacher

I started my teaching career in 2005 working for a privately-owned language school. Since then it hasn't been easy. After four years of hard working at the private school, I had the opportunity to work at a state school and that is my current job so far.
I agree that the educational system and times have changed, but it has changed to worse, our children's education requires interactions between schools and families, two different worlds that need to be supplemented and  share impressions to help students' education. I would like to speak from both, my teacher and mother points of view.
From the point of view of teacher, I note that in the school area, parents and students have lost the principles of respect to teachers, and that's a serious problem that we have to face every day.
On the other side, being a working mother involves that we want to get to everything giving up anything and there's the serious mistake. We don't spend too much time on our children's education. And that's a feeling that I  have constantly.
To sum up, being a teacher nowadays is not an easy task, although people use to say  teachers have long holidays and good lifes, if you want to become a teacher think about the teachers you remember best (of any subjects) and the passion they had for their subject, the enthusiasm they showed in conveying that knowledge to you and the way they influenced you both inside and outside the classroom. That's the most important point when teaching.
